About me

MSc, PgCert, BSc, NCPS Accred

Natasza Mila Bruni

I’m a therapist and a coach, helping people feel more confident, balanced, and deeply connected to themselves. At the heart of my work is an interest in how people make sense of their lives, particularly at moments when familiar ways of understanding themselves no longer feel adequate. I work with individuals who are navigating questions of meaning, identity, freedom, responsibility, and the realities of limitation. Many people seek therapy during periods of uncertainty, loss, transition, or disconnection, when established narratives begin to loosen and new possibilities have yet to take shape.

My approach is grounded primarily in existential and narrative therapy, with coaching integrated where it supports movement and change. Together, we explore the values that matter most to you, the choices you are facing, and the direction you want your life to take. A central part of the work involves examining the stories you hold about yourself—particularly those shaped by fear, habit, or past experience—and creating space for narratives that feel more coherent, compassionate, and aligned with who you are becoming.

Therapy offers a place to slow down and attend to emotional experience, meaning, and possibility. It is a space where suffering can be explored without being reduced to pathology, and where agency and responsibility can be approached with care rather than pressure. When helpful, I incorporate coaching practices such as values clarification, focused reflection, and practical strategies so that insight can be translated into grounded, intentional action.

An important dimension of my work involves how people relate to others and express themselves. I am particularly attentive to the ways clients communicate—not only through words, but also through silence, hesitation, role-taking, and emotional patterns that shape relationships over time. Together, we explore how needs, boundaries, and feelings are expressed or withheld, and how greater clarity and confidence in self-expression can support more honest and sustainable connections.

This work often includes unpacking entrenched interactional habits, preparing for or reflecting on challenging conversations, and examining how expectations, power, and unspoken assumptions influence communication in both personal and professional contexts. Rather than focusing solely on techniques, we attend to the underlying fears, loyalties, and meanings that shape how a person shows up in relationship.

My therapeutic style is reflective and engaged. I work in a non-directive manner while remaining actively involved through thoughtful questioning, mirroring, and gentle challenge. I invite clients to take ownership of their choices and responses, while holding a compassionate awareness of the vulnerabilities, contradictions, and limits inherent in being human. The work is collaborative and paced according to the individual, rather than driven by a fixed method.

Alongside existential and narrative foundations, I also draw on person-centred therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, internal family systems, creative approaches, and philosophical inquiry. Each person’s work is shaped individually, balancing emotional depth with practical reflection and integration.

I am especially well suited to working with people who value honesty, depth, and self-examination, and who are seeking greater clarity, agency, and relational awareness. This way of working often resonates with those who are reflective or questioning, and who sense that familiar ways of understanding themselves or navigating life are no longer sufficient or meaningful.
